“It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold: when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade.” – Charles Dickens, Great Expectations
I hope the Dickens quote above will be reflected in the weather this month. I am ready for a taste of spring in the sunshine.
This month, we are looking forward to reading three books. The first is new, the second was published in 2007, and the third is the first book in The D’Artagnan Romances, a six volume series written by Alexander Dumas.
The Summer Before the War by Helen Simonson (available 03/22/16)
The Sharper Your Knife, The Less You Cry by Kathleen Flinn (published 10/04/07)
The Three Musketeers (Book 1 of The D’Artagnan Romances) by Alexander Dumas (published in 1844)
Happy Reading!
