Welcome to the cafe. The Close Reads Cafe, that is.
[custom_blockquote style=”purple”] This is how we envision the perfect book club: bibliophiles coming together to talk plot on a gripping novel, share their favorite quotes, and express wishes of what they want to read next, all while sipping mugs of their favorite coffee. Since we couldn’t find it in real life, we brought it to the internet in October 2012: an online book club complete with discussion boards, Twitter hashtags, and plenty of filtered Instagram photos.
Close Reads Cafe is a virtual book club with a mission to bring together individuals who enjoy good reads, great conversations, and tall lattes. We read one featured book pick per month. Members vote on which titles/genres we read. Giveaways are hosted periodically. We are now the official book club of The Write Teacher(s). [/custom_blockquote]
Now, I can honestly say, the choice to partner Close Reads Cafe with The Write Teacher(s), is one of the most brilliant decisions I’ve ever made. And Sara and I cannot WAIT for what’s in store for this fabulous group.
It’s going to be phenomenal.
