Hello, music lovers!
Something beautiful happened on October 28, 2014.
My workplace got the internet that it had been waiting months for.
You see, before this upgrade, our internet was awful. The internet in the retreat center barely worked with one device connected to it, so if more than one was connected, you were more or less out of luck. And the internet in the house that I share with four other missionaries was provided by a hot spot with a monthly limit. Both of these things made streaming music and movies difficult.
But we got a shiny fast new internet service on October 28! And one of the first things I did with it was stream music on Spotify. As a result, I found a lot of cool music that I wasn’t able to hear before my workplace’s internet upgrade. Here’s a playlist of some of my discoveries. Enjoy!
- The Devil Makes Three, “Worse or Better”
- Ben Howard, “In Dreams”
- Odessa, “Hummed Low”
- The Wild Feathers, “If You Don’t Love Me”
- Lucius, “Wildewoman”
- PHOX, “1936”
- Isbells, “Reunite”
- Roo Panes, “Tiger Striped Sky”
- Horse Feathers, “Helen”
