The glorious Aida Turturro makes her Guild Hall stage debut at the second annual Andromeda’s Sisters- The Neo-Political Cowgirls’ Panel and Performance event to celebrate Arts and Advocacy for women and families – Thursday, June 28th at Guild Hall in East Hampton.
5:00 Panel- Moderated by Hampton’s Magazine and Beach Magazine publisher Debra Halpert, representatives from OLA, International Rescue Committee, Ellen’s Run, Hantam Trust, WAVE, and Take Your Daughter To Work Day/Born Worthy discuss their work, the challenges they face in today’s political climate, and how these issues affect our community.
6:30 Garden Party- Join us in the Guild Hall garden for food sponsored by Nick and Toni’s and East End Acupuncture, drinks and cocktails, and live music by Job Potter, Steven Tekulsky and Sarah Greene. Meet and greet the panelists, local business owners, and movers and shakers in our local arts and advocacy community.
8:00 Playreading Performance- Five one act plays by Lucy Boyle, Monica Bauer, Robin Rice, Quinn Jackson, and Jacqueline Bircher starring Aida Turturro, (Sopranos) Ellen Dolan, (Guiding Light) Florencia Lozano, (One Life To Live, Gossip Girl) Ava DeMary, (Broadway- Billy Eliot, Evita, Matilda) Augie Murphy, (Law and Order) Lydia Franco-Hidges, Charlie Westfal, Joanna Howard, Amanda Nichols, Susan Stout and more.
Tickets are available for just the panel and party, ($35) party and performance, ($75) or the entire event ($90). VIP tickets for the full event and a backstage pass with Prosecco for $150.
Proceeds support The Neo-Political Cowgirls’ professional theater work and local education outreach programs for boys and girls. (Young Cowgirls, January Girls, Dude’s Eye View, etc.)
