Candice DiLavore, a native New Yorker, credits her love of reading back to the first time she read The Boxcar Children in second grade. She can never seem to make a dent in her “To Read” bookshelf as she is constantly adding new titles. In addition to her love for literature, she has a special place in her heart for the theatre and attends plays and musicals whenever she has the opportunity. When she’s not immersed in the arts, Candice can be found reading policy papers about education policy and free market economics.
