Hello Beautiful People!
The day has come to list the first set of book club questions for our upcoming Book Club Chat on March 31st:
- What did you expect from this book when you first read the title? When you first read the opening line – “I fell in love with William Ashe at gunpoint, in a Circle K.”
- What did you think of the references to religion scattered throughout the book? Did they bring a deeper meaning to the story?
- How do Shandi and William change throughout the book? What resonates with you the most?
- How are the characters in the novel stuck in the past? Are they able to find closure?
- There are many love stories throughout SELS, some more unexpected than others. What couple do you think is the main love story? William and Bridget? Shandi and Walcott? Even Shandi and Mattie? What is your definition of unconditional love?
- How do you think the title works with the different relationships in SELS?
We hope you’ll read along with us, and head back on over here on March 31st to talk love, life, and Someone Else’s Love Story!
