The acclaimed Broadway Sings concert series, which features new arrangements of pop stars’ music, will present the first of its spinoff series at 54 Below, Broadway Sings Their Own. The concert will feature Broadway actors who also write their own music, singing the original songs they have written, newly orchestrated for a full band.
The singer-songwriters featured will be Christy Altomare (Anastasia), Katie Boeck (Spring Awakening), Laura Michelle Kelly (Finding Neverland), Julia Mattison (Godspell), Jonathan Ritter (Wicked), Alex Wyse (Spring Awakening), and The Bones: Alison Luff (Les Misérables) and Matt Magnusson.
Broadway Sings Their Own is produced, directed, and conceived by Broadway Sings creator Corey Mach (Invisible Thread, Wicked) and features arrangements and orchestrations by Joshua Stephen Kartes. More information about the series can be found online: www.broadwaysingsconcert.com or @BroadwaySings.
