Hello Beautiful People,
It’s no secret that I have a love affair of bookstores. I can spend hours and hours and hours and hours lost amongst the shelves.
The Drama Book Shop is by far, one of my most favorite gems in New York City. I got my signed copy of Orphans there. I purchased my volume of The Vermont Plays there. I have found so much inspiration on those shelves and in that basement – and I can’t even begin to put a price on it.
Recently, a pipe burst in the shop, destroying a tremendous amount of inventory and a huge part of the shop – and now, this Tony Award winning bookstore that has been around since 1917, needs your help.
Many have fled to the midtown artistic haven to buy a book.
Others who are not in NYC have gone to the website to place their orders.
Feinstein’s/54 Below already has a benefit for the store on their calendar. (Tickets are available here.)
Whatever your preference is – The Write Teacher(s) and I urge you to buy a book. Bookstores are gems, and The Drama Book Shop is something to be treasured.
Happy Shopping!
