FEINSTEIN’S/54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street), Broadway’s Supper Club, presents Broadway veterans Anne L. Nathan and Jeff Blumenkrantz in Lauren Taslitz (Book/Lyrics) and Danny Ursetti’s (Music) original song cycle REGRETTING ALMOST EVERYTHING – one night only on Thursday April 12, 2018 at 9:30PM. 
REGRETTING ALMOST EVERYTHING combines humor, honesty, and compassion to deliver a seldom-seen musical look at love and family life from the perspective of late middle age.
Writers 50-something Taslitz and 30-something Ursetti met in 2015 as MFA classmates in New York University’s Tisch School for the Arts Musical Theater Writing program, and REGRETTING ALMOST EVERYTHING marks their first major collaboration. Two-time Tony Award winner William Finn describes it as “Outrageous, wise, and honest. Anyone who cares about the future of musical theatre would be well advised to see this.”
“The cast calls it ‘The Last 25 Years’,” laughs Taslitz. “Even though most theatre tickets are purchased by older people like me who’ve been through a long marriage and raising kids, that kind of love story doesn’t get told very often. But those themes are complex, emotional, and with some life perspective, highly entertaining. It’s perfect material for a musical.”
REGRETTING ALMOST EVERYTHING stars Jeff Blumenkrantz as Clay Cabbage and Anne L. Nathan as Anne Stein, with narration by Lauren Taslitz (Book/Lyrics), additional narration, guitar and drums by Danny Ursetti (Music), and Musical Direction by Benji Goldsmith. Also featured are Emily Chiu (Orchestration/violin, bells, uke) and Jacob Fjeldheim (Orchestration/cello, keys, melodica), with Amy Weintraub (Vocals). Also appearing are Cori A Jaskier, Kennedy Kanagawa, Ronald Alexander Peet, Christian Probst, and Destinee Rea, and Shannon Tyo.
