“It’s a pleasure to spend time with a talented actress and who has seen some scary stuff, yet emerged with her sense of humor intact and ready to sing.” — Theatre Is Easy
“Clever and heartfelt, Crazytown provides instant relief from the blues.” – Electronic Link Off Broadway
“Self-medicate with real-life therapist…expect the unexpected! And without the hourly rates.” — New York Daily News
“A touch of therapy with a lot of laughs and music seems exactly what the world needs now.” — Cabaret Scenes
CrAzYToWn: my first psychopath, is creative arts therapist Jude Treder-Wolff’s comic take – and true story – about a shocking encounter with a deceptive, dangerous person – the nicest guy you never want to meet. It is an insanely funny look at how working in psychiatry right about the time of savage funding cuts helps an over-eager therapist get over herself…when nothing else seemed to be working.
CrAzYToWn: my first psychopath has been performed in New York at The Peoples Improv Theater, Actors Theater Workshop and The Charles B. Wang Center at Stony Brook University, and The Conservatory NJ in Trenton, NJ. CrAzYToWn: my first psychopath has been performed at numerous festivals including the 2013 Midtown International Theatre Festival (NYC), 2012 Chicago Fringe Festival and the 2012 San Francisco Fringe Festival.
Performance takes place at Stage 72 at The Triad, 158 West 72nd Street (Between Broadway & Columbus Avenue) on the 2nd Floor. Tickets are available at www.brownpapertickets.com/event/616499 – Tickets $12, 2-drink minimum.
