Joan Vázquez will make his New York City debut with ‘Something’s Coming – a Sondheim tribute’ at the renowned 54 Below on Wednesday 5th July at 9.30pm.
In the style of recent actor-musician Sondheim latest productions on Broadway, this new guy in town goes solo celebrating music theatre genius Stephen Sondheim with legendary songs such as “Losing My Mind”, “Finishing the Hat”, “Send in the Clowns” or “Being Alive”, accompanied by himself on the piano, while delivering Mr. Sondheim’s witty quotes on the state of the art, love and life.
Joan will be joined by the special Broadway guests performers appearances (subject to availability) of Trey Ellett (Amélie, Rent) and Natalie Weiss (Everyday Rapture, Les Misérables).
Joan Vázquez ‘Something’s Coming – A Sondheim Tribute’ is conceived, directed and performed by Joan Vazquez. It is set for Wednesday, 5th July, 9.30pm at Feinstein’s/54 Below.
