Hello Beautiful People,
I’m so excited for the next concert in the Lucky Disaster Concert Series. The music, the cast, the all around process regarding this particular show has just been phenomenal, with great theater comes great collaboration, and these performers, composers, and musicians are nothing short of exceptional.
For those of you who are not familiar with the concept of the Lucky Disaster Concert Series, allow me to explain. Lucky Disaster is a cabaret that uses the work of new musical theater composers, and original monologues that are inspired by the selected songs. The catch, is that all performers are recent graduates and/or current students of acting and musical theater. It’s been a wonderful way to introduce up and coming artists to the NY Theater scene, and I’m just elated with the growth of this concert series thus far.
Here are the fancy details:
Lucky Disaster 303: The Music & Lyrics of Bobby Cronin, Anna Ty Bergman, and Alexander Sage Oyen with the Words of The Write Teacher(s) is scheduled for March 29th at Don’t Tell Mama, 7:30PM. Seating begins at 7:00pm.
Conceived, produced, and directed by Megan Minutillo, with musical direction by Will Buck, the concert will feature selected songs of Cronin, Bergman, and Oyen, along with original monologues by The Write Teacher(s).
