From the award-winning creators of Pageant Princess, the provocative new musical Pieces. directed by Nick Radu, tells the story of Tabby Morgan, a woman who is desperately trying to survive in a world that she can’t remember experiencing.
Pieces is the first musical based on Dissociative Identity Disorder, otherwise known as multiple personality disorder, and it takes a realistic and compassionate look into the life of a multiple; her struggle to cope in a world that she can’t remember experiencing. This innovative new musical reaches into the deepest part of the human psyche to find how a shattered mind journeys through the dark terrors of the past and the elusive stability of the present to the hope of a brighter future.
Pieces stars Kristen Penner as Tabby; Book, Music and Lyrics by Kristen Penner, Lorelei Mackenzie and Joni Ernst; Music Director/Orchestrator by Adam Baritot; and Dramaturgy by Shaun Peknic (Associate Director of Once.)
