Evan is familiar to New York/Broadway audiences from The Robber Bridegroom, Once, Peter and the Starcatcher, Avenue Q and The Phantom of the Opera– he brings his celebration of Meat Loaf’s classic album Bat Out Of Hell to Feinstein’s/54 Below on October 9 at 9:30pm. Backed by a stellar band of Broadway regulars, Harrington journeys back to 1977 to recreate hits like “Paradise By The Dashboard Light,” “Two Out Of Three Ain’t Bad,” and “You Took The Words Right Out Of My Mouth,” among many others. In this not-to-be-missed classic rock tribute, he performs the #5 best-selling album of all time from cover to cover, just like you did every single time you ever listened to it on vinyl.
Harrington has assembled a dream team of collaborators for this one-of-a-kind event, with two-time Drama Desk nominee Gary Adler (Avenue Q) on piano, Brian Koonin (School of Rock) on guitar, Joe Choroszewski (Finding Neverland) on drums, Mary Ann McSweney (Avenue Q)on Bass, and Josh Plotner on saxophone.
