FEINSTEIN’S/54 BELOW, Broadway’s Supper Club, presents Gloria Reuben on Thursday December 8th, 2016.
Gloria will bring her unique style to songs from her albums PERCHANCE TO DREAM, JUST FOR YOU, and her favorite holiday tunes, in an intimate style with solely vocals and piano.
Her partner at piano is the well renowned Angelo di Loreto, a multi-faceted pianist and composer. He was a finalist in the 2012 Nottingham International Jazz Piano Competition and frequently tours the country and globe with his various projects.
Gloria Reuben is an actress and singer whose credits span television, film, theater and music. Gloria began playing classical piano at the age of 5 and has loved music ever since. The biggest moments in her music career include being a backup singer for Tina Turner in the 2000 tour ’24/7”, which led her to record her solo record JUST FOR YOU. Many will remember Gloria as “Jeanie Boulet” on the hit NBC series ER, a role that garnered her two Emmy nominations and a Golden Globe nomination. Since then, she has had multiple regular starring roles in a variety of television series, including RAISING THE BAR and FALLING SKIES. She is currently co-starring in the hit USA Network series MR. ROBOT. Gloria has also begun filming a recurring role on the new scripted VH1 series THE BREAKS.
In film, Gloria portrayed “Elizabeth Keckley” alongside Daniel Day-Lewis & Sally Field in the Steven Spielberg film LINCOLN, appeared alongside Paul Rudd and Tina Fey in Paul Weitz’s ADMISSION, and starred opposite Samuel L. Jackson in REASONABLE DOUBT.
Gloria’s portrayal of Condoleezza Rice in David Hare’s play STUFF HAPPENS at the NY Public Theater, garnered her a Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Lead Actress.
