Jessica Mortellaro joins NEXT Concert Series: Bridge the Gap Volume 2!
Jessica is an actress, singer, and producer living in NYC. Her acting credits include: Mayella in To Kill a Mockingbird (Bay Street Theater), Anne in Anne Frank (Bay Street Theater), Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz (Gateway Playhouse), Debbie in The Real Thing (Syracuse Stage), Mercedes in Count of Monte Cristo (Bleecker Street Theater), Love Slap (June Havoc Theater). Last year she co-founded Speck of Light Productions, and produced and starred in their debut production of This Wide Night by Chloe Moss at Guild Hall in East Hampton. Currently, Jessica is involved in the development of the new musical Mars 2076 by Lisa Heffter and Jean Witter. Jessica is a BFA graduate from Syracuse University. www.jessicamortell
In this Volume, writers from both sides of the pond will unite to share their work–featuring brilliant talent from the New York theatre community, and new songs centered around the hashtag and the mission of this series: #songstoheal.
A portion of the evening’s proceeds will go to a charity for mental health awareness, which will be announced at a later date.
Featuring performances by Alicia Krakauer, T.J. Newton, Mathieu Whitman, Ariana Sepulvéda, and Stephanie Turci – with additional cast members soon to be announced!
