Jessica Mortellaro joins the cast of DUETS with The Write Teacher(s) Volume 7 on April 12th at Feinstein’s/54 Below.
Jessica is an actress, singer, and producer living in NYC. Her acting credits include: Mayella in To Kill a Mockingbird (Bay Street Theater), Anne in Anne Frank (Bay Street Theater), Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz (Gateway Playhouse), Debbie in The Real Thing (Syracuse Stage), and Mercedes in Count of Monte Cristo (Bleecker Street Theater). Jessica is also the co-founder of Speck of Light Productions, having produced and starred in their debut production of This Wide Night by Chloe Moss at Guild Hall in East Hampton. Currently, Jessica is playing Lucy in the development of the new musical Mars 2076 by Lisa Heffter & Jean Witter and is a member of the Yip Harburg Foundation’s Rainbow Troupe. Conceived and produced by Megan Minutillo (in association with thewriteteachers.com), the evening will feature music from across the musical theatre canon, pairing one Broadway singer with one Broadway hopeful.
