The Center for Arts Education seeks a detail-oriented, self-motivated Teaching and Learning Department intern. The ideal candidate is in interested in the arts, education, and learning the intricacies of program administration and related research in a vibrant non-profit setting focused on creativity and collaboration.
Primary duties include:
- Participating in team meetings
- Documenting student work (ex. photos during portfolio conferences)
- Data entry of student surveys, teacher surveys, portfolio rubric review
- Archiving student portfolios
- Assisting with Teaching Artist auditions, professional development sessions, and school site visits
- Helping the Teaching and Learning team develop innovative program designs
- Professional development opportunities (through CAE programs and Principal’s Institutes)
- The candidate should be accustomed to working with Excel, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. This internship runs 2-3 days/week through January, exact dates to be determined.
