Hello Lovelies,
A note from our founder –
My students always surprise me.
Always.
My principal wants me to write to Bravo! or Showtime and pitch a pilot series for our school…THAT’S how crazy life can get.
Sometimes life throws you a surprise or two.
Today, I was surprised in the most beautiful, magical, lovely sort of way.
Last year, I introduced my kids, my babies, my students to The World Needs More Love Letters. And, whenever Hannah and her team of genius wordsmiths get a campaign going, I bring it into my classroom.
But, today, my kids surprised me.
Today, my students didn’t wait for me to bring a project to them, they asked for the project.
They. Asked. For. A. Writing. Project.
And they wanted it, in the form of Christmas cards.
“Ms. Min”, they said…
“Lets write to more adults for Christmas. Lets write to people who don’t have families. Lets write to people who don’t have homes. Lets write to people who need love.”
{insert sheer joy & glee & smiles & happiness & sparkles & everything that is good with the world…right. here.}
My kids, my babies, my students….they. Want. To. Write.
Hannah & you beauties, this one’s for you.
XO
Megan
