Hello Beautiful People,
I’m not sure how to introduce this next book.
Our final book.
And yes, perhaps I’m a bit biased because I adore this author. She’s a friend. She’s a colleague. She’s my theatre soul sister.
SHE’S JUST BRILLIANT.
She is Jennifer Ashley Tepper. And her book, is The Untold Stories of Broadway, Volume 2.
And I’m getting all misty eyed – because I remember, not too long ago, sitting at The Renaissance Diner on 9th avenue, talking about this book. (Actually, we were chatting about the FIRST ONE, and yes, dear readers, there are two.) And Jen just lit up when she was talking about this project – it was new, it was exciting, it was something she hadn’t shared with the masses yet.
But one thing was crystal clear, it lit her soul on fire. It made her the type of happy that was just…infectious.
Her love, her passion, and her dedication of Broadway, and her love, her passion, and her respect for all those who have come before us is reflected in these books. It’s the type of beautiful that makes me struggle to find the words that best represent what this book really is – a collection of the people who make the Great White Way…great. And it’s not just the folks in the fancy suits and the glittery costumes. It’s the house managers, the stagehands, the dressers – it’s EVERYONE.
There is an old saying – it takes a village to raise a child.
But perhaps it could also say, it takes a village to put up on a Broadway show.
I’m so happy to be able to say that we’re giving away an autographed copy of The Untold Stories of Broadway, Volume 2!
HERE’S HOW:
Simply tell us, (in the comments section below), what your dream role on Broadway would be, and why. The contest will be open until SUNDAY, December 22nd.
And, if you don’t win, trust me when I say that this gift will be PERFECT for anyone and everyone who loves Broadway – and you can purchase your very own copy right here.

It’ll be fun, it’ll be jolly, and a portion of the proceeds will go to benefit The Robinhood Foundation.
I have always wanted to play Jo in Little Women. The music is lovely and I really appreciate how diverse and sometimes ridiculous the character can be. I grew up reading the books, and I love the show even more. It world be so cool to play the same type that Sutton did and make her my own.
Congrats, Emily!
