Hey friends!
I have never been a fan of a show so good and SO bad at the same time. The corniest of fairytale based shows Once Upon a Time has been in full swing in its 3rd season since September of this year and I could not be more thrilled.
We started our journey of season 3 in Neverland, a place where two “agents” were trying to get rid of magic. They also kidnapped Henry, which prompted his family to be led by Hook, the captain of the Jolly Roger, to chase after him, not knowing if they would ever return. In a crooked twist of events, we find out that Peter Pan of Neverland is actually the enemy in this story.
Pan needs Henry, and his heart (the heart of the true believer) to complete a mission. And this past episode revealed that it has something to do with Skull Rock, an iconic place in the Disney original movie Peter Pan.
Some problems have arisen along the way as well. Charming can never leave Neverland – what will Mary Maragret do? Neil is alive, and is in Neverland – will he be able to help them out? Hook kissed Emma, and is in love with her – will she pick him or Neil?
And the last episode was arguably the most exciting one yet. We’ve seen that The Dark One was telling the truth about wanting to save Henry, because he wants to kill Pan instead. Without giving too much away, I’ll just say that the two have more in common than you think. But now, The Dark One is lost in Pandora’s box – What will become of him? And now Pan is unstoppable with the heart of the truest believer in his body.
Once Upon a Time is, in itself, it’s own separate fairytale that has extended from the truths of other fairytales. The creative directors have worked hard to create another world, and have suceeded. It’s hard for this fairytale loving girl not to be wrapped up in it.
So stay tuned to this wonderful and thrilling story on ABC, Sunday’s at 8 pm (Eastcoast Standard Time).
