Hello Beautiful People,
We’d like to introduce you all to the fabulous, fantastic, and magnificient folks of Close Reads Cafe.
For those of you who don’t know, The Write Teacher(s) have partnered up with Close Reads Cafe in November, and we’re both reading Silver Sparrow, by Tayari Jones.
What is Close Reads Cafe?
Well, it’s {fabulousness}.
[A PERFECT definition of Utter awesomesauce.]
And an online virtual bookclub, started by the someday editor, bookworm extrodinaire, Ms. Sara M. Brink.
They talk about books.
With coffee.
Or hot cocoa.
Or hot apple cider.
Just pick your beverage of choice, OK?
They’re fantastic.
We love them.
They support The #LoveLetterLibraryProject, a growing movement here at The Write Teacher(s). (Just to refresh your memory, The #LoveLetterLibraryProject is a movement inspired by our soul sistahs at The World Needs More Love Letters. We aim to leave letters of love & hope & happiness & encouragement & smiles & glitter & hugs in LIBRARY BOOKS. Yes, library books. So, the next time you check a book out of your local library, be sure to leave a little note inside. THEN, take a picture of it, and let us all know! (Use the hashtag #LoveLetterLibraryProject, and be sure to let @TheWriteTeach + @CloseReadsCafe + @MoreLoveLetters know.)
We love Close Reads Cafe.
Did we say that already?
Well, we do. Hurricane Sandy left all of us in a bit of a tizzy out here on Long Island, our founder still doesn’t have power, but Close Reads Cafe, well, they sent out all the info about our Novemeber Picks like the allstars that they are.
We are forever grateful.
